Cubic Bangna

• About 0.45 km and a 5-minute walk from BITEC
• Studio, twin and quadruple rooms
• Lift, terrace and garden
• Road noise reported, so ask for a room away from the street

Essentials

Cubic Bangna is a small budget hotel in Bangna and the closest listed hotel to BITEC, at 0.45 km. One listing puts it at a 5-minute walk to the halls, and a guest says BTS Bang Na station is nearby too.

That makes it the simplest choice for an early expo start on foot. Check the actual route on a map before you rely on it, since the straight-line distance ignores fences and road crossings.

Overview

Rooms are studios, twins and quadruples, air-conditioned with private bathrooms according to booking-site listings. The hotel is small, with a lift, a terrace and a garden. A room for four makes it workable for colleagues travelling to the same show.

The trade-off is the street. A guest reports road noise, so a room away from the street is worth asking for. It is a place to sleep and leave early, not to spend the day in. The BITEC hotel guide lists the other hotels within walking distance.

Tip: Ask for a room at the back and a middle floor when you book, and confirm it at check-in.

Food and drink

Booking-site listings say breakfast is not offered, so plan to eat nearby. The malls and streets around Bangna have everyday Thai places, and BITEC has food outlets during shows.

Amenities

Facilities are basic: free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, a safe deposit box, a business centre and a lift. There is no pool. Parking is listed, without detail on terms.

The lift and the short walk to the halls mean fewer stairs and less time in the sun. No shuttle is listed.
