Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong is a mid-range, design-led hotel at 111 Ratchadamri Road, close to CentralWorld. It opened in February 2024 with 504 rooms, and Marriott lists it as the first Moxy in Thailand.

The nearest BTS stop is Chit Lom, about 8 minutes on foot, reached via the Ratchaprasong skywalk. The Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld is about 5 minutes away by the same skywalk.

Overview

Rooms are compact and built for short, active stays. The 92 Skyline rooms (Queen and Twin) are on floors 27 to 30 with large windows over the city. Corner rooms are 26 m2 and fit up to three guests with a rollaway bed. The 36 m2 Deluxe rooms are the largest option, with a separate sitting and working area. The Loft has a queen bed plus a bunk bed for two children.

All rooms have walk-in showers, a hair dryer, USB ports and free high-speed Wi-Fi. There is no room service, and a communal ironing room is provided.

The hotel is built around shared spaces: a bar and restaurant, an outdoor terrace on the 9th floor and a rooftop bar on the 32nd. Within the set in hotels near Siam and Chit Lom, it is the newest and most informal.

Tip: Ask for a Skyline room on floors 27 to 30 for the views and some distance from the 9th-floor terrace.

Food and drink

Moxy Bar & Restaurant

The hotel’s central venue, serving international food, hand-crafted drinks and small plates. Breakfast is a buffet with international and Asian dishes and halal-certified meats, and a separate all-day breakfast menu offers American, Japanese and Asian options.

Sato San Rooftop Bar

On the 32nd floor, with skyline views, DJ nights and creative drinks, and Thai-Isaan flavours with Japanese influence. Guests must be 20 or over.

Grab + Go

A counter with snacks, drinks and light meals, with a shared microwave for guests. The Moxy Truck, a mobile bar with a DJ booth, operates on the outdoor terrace.

Amenities

The gym is free for guests and open 24 hours, with cardio and weight equipment, a stationary bike with city views and a boxing bag.

Marriott’s room page currently lists no accessible rooms, so ask the hotel about step-free routes and lifts before booking. Pets up to 7 kg are allowed, subject to the hotel’s pet policy.
