Essentials

Best Western Nada Don Mueang Airport Hotel is a 235-room hotel on Phahonyothin Road in Bang Khen, north Bangkok. The hotel’s website gives BTS Phahon Yothin 59 station at 300 m, and the nearby Wat Phra Sri Mahathat station at 400 m.

The airport is about 15 minutes away by road, according to the hotel, so this is a hotel for the city first and the flight second. The skytrain is the draw: it puts central Bangkok within reach without a taxi.

Overview

The hotel has 232 Superior rooms, in King and Twin layouts, and 3 suites, one and two bedroom. Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 12:00.

It suits a stay that mixes a few days in town with a morning flight from Don Mueang. It does not suit a traveller who wants to be at the terminal within minutes: the Amari and the other hotels in hotels near Don Mueang Airport sit closer. Lotus’s Laksi supermarket is 20 m from the hotel, handy for water, snacks and basics.

Tip: For an early flight, ask the hotel for its shuttle hours when you book, and allow extra road time for traffic on Phahonyothin Road.
