Ascott Thonglor Bangkok is a serviced residence of 451 apartments at 1 Soi Sukhumvit 59 (Boonchana), built for stays of a week or more. The operator’s FAQ gives the walk to Thong Lo BTS as five minutes, so allow extra in heat or with luggage.

For the days you do not want to walk, the residence lists a complimentary tuk-tuk to the Skytrain and selected locations, plus a shuttle van on certain routes. The site gives the tuk-tuk ride as about 10 minutes.

Units start with the Deluxe Room and Deluxe Room Twin (both 35 sqm), then the Studio Executive (45 sqm), One-Bedroom Premier (60 sqm), Two-Bedroom Premier (100 sqm) and Three-Bedroom Premier (140 sqm). Connecting two- and three-bedroom executive layouts of 95 and 135 sqm are also listed.

Kitchens are the reason to choose it over a hotel: from the studio up, units have an electric hob with hood, a full-size fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee machine. A dishwasher and oven appear in selected residences only. In-suite washing machines come with the Studio Executive and larger units.
