Centre Point Plus Hotel Silom is a 214-room hotel on Soi Kaysorn 1 (Charoenkrung 50) in Bang Rak. According to the hotel’s website, it is near Saphan Taksin BTS station and the Chao Phraya River, which puts it at the river end of the Silom and Sathorn area rather than the Sala Daeng end.

The hotel’s appeal is room size more than position: even the entry-level Deluxe Room is 45 sqm.

Overview

Seven room types are listed. The Deluxe Room (city view) and Deluxe River both measure 45 sqm, with one queen bed (twin beds on request) and a bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub. Family River View rooms are 66 sqm with two king beds. Above these are the Family Suite (90 sqm, one king and two single beds), the One Bedroom Grand Suite and One Bedroom River Haven (both 90 sqm, with a living room) and a Two Bedrooms Premier Suite of 183 sqm with two bathrooms and a guest restroom.

For a couple who want space to unpack and sit, or three generations sharing a trip, the layouts are the strength. The Family Suite and Premier Suite give separate sleeping areas without moving to a second room on another floor. Centre Point recently upgraded the hotel to its Plus standard, a refresh announced in December 2024.

Food and drink

Blue Spice Restaurant

Blue Spice is the hotel’s restaurant, on the L Floor, the same level as the pool, gym and Executive Lounge. With everything on one level, a meal is an easy walk from the lift for guests who prefer not to go out.

Amenities

The outdoor pool is saltwater and sits on the L Floor, built into a renovated sundeck with views of the Bangkok skyline. The fitness centre has exercise machines, with a sauna, on the same floor.

An Executive Lounge is also on the L Floor, so pool, gym, sauna, restaurant and lounge sit on one level and need no long walks inside the building.
