Essentials
Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok is a 280-room upscale hotel at 11 Sukhumvit Soi 24, in the Phrom Phong part of Sukhumvit. Hilton’s own pages give the walk to Phrom Phong BTS as three minutes in one place and five in another.
Plan on the longer figure with luggage. Hilton lists the Emporium, EmQuartier and Emsphere malls as a short walk, so supermarkets, pharmacies and food courts are close without a train ride.
Overview
Hilton’s photo captions show twin rooms with city views, one-bed rooms with a standing bathtub and a King Presidential Suite with a separate living room. The bathtub rooms are the ones to ask for if you prefer a soak to a shower.
At 280 rooms it sits between Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 (222 rooms) and the Marriott Marquis (about 1,388 rooms), all three covered in hotels in Phrom Phong and Thonglor. Lifts and the lobby are therefore less crowded than at the largest tower. Hilton’s website places the hotel in the Soi 24 shopping and dining district, and that is the draw: a day can be spent between the malls and the room. Thonglor, with its cafes and bars, is further along the BTS line.
Tip: When booking, request a room with a bathtub, and allow a few extra minutes on the first walk to the BTS with a suitcase.
Food and drink
Scalini
Hilton’s website describes Scalini as specialising in sharing-style Mediterranean cuisine, a refined tribute to classic Italian cooking. Sharing plates suit a table of two to four who want to try several dishes.
Mondo
Mondo is described on Hilton’s website as a cosy hangout with global cuisine, local delicacies and rare Scotch whiskies. It also offers afternoon tea, which fits a pause between mall visits.
Amenities
The pool is a rooftop infinity pool called Lapse, outdoors. The gym is on the 26th floor, open 24 hours, with weights, cardio equipment, treadmills and rowing machines.
Because the malls are close, daily errands need no taxi.

Where to stay
Pick the area before the hotel
Traffic and heat make Bangkok distances feel longer than they look on a map, so the area shapes a trip more than the hotel does. Our guides match areas to trip types and explain the trade-offs.
