Bangkok Dental Clinics Compared: 7 Providers on Price
Seven Bangkok dental providers compared from their own pages: an eMax crown costs 12,000-19,900 THB and an implant 35,000-60,000 THB, checked 9 Oct 2026.

On this page
No page can name the single best dental clinic in Bangkok, because the right one depends on the work you need, your budget and how many visits you can make. What can be compared is what each provider publishes: three dental groups post price lists (an all-ceramic eMax crown runs from 12,000 to 19,900 THB, about 350-585 USD, and a single implant from 35,000 to 60,000 THB, about 1,030-1,760 USD, crown extra at some clinics), while the hospital dental centres and Chulalongkorn Dental Hospital are covered by services and hours. Everything below comes from each provider’s own pages (bangkokdentalcenter.com, dentalhospitalthailand.com, skytraindental.com, bangkokhospital.com, samitivejhospitals.com, bumrungrad.com, chula.ac.th), last verified 9 October 2026 at roughly 34 THB per USD.
Which kinds of dental provider can you choose from?
Bangkok offers four kinds of provider, and the differences matter more than any single name. For what each tier is good for and how to judge quality, read the guide to dental treatment in Bangkok; this page puts named providers side by side.

| Chulalongkorn Dental Hospital | University teaching hospital | Rate table posted as an image | Ask when booking |
What do Bangkok’s dental clinics charge?
Only three providers publish itemised prices, so they are the only ones that can be compared line by line. Treat the table as a planning band: the products differ between providers (implant brands, crown materials) and the clinics quote different things.
| Treatment (THB, ~USD) | BIDC | BIDH | Skytrain |
|---|---|---|---|
| eMax all-ceramic crown | 19,500 (~575) | 19,900 (~585) | 12,000-17,000 (~350-500) |
| Zirconia crown | 21,000 (~620) | 22,000 (~645) | 16,000-18,000 (~470-530) |
| Implant, entry system (crown listed separately) | 35,000 implant + 25,000 crown (~1,760 total) | 40,000 implant + 25,000 crown (~1,910 total) | 45,000-60,000 for an implant, system-dependent (~1,320-1,760) |
| Straumann Roxolid SLA implant + crown | 54,000 + 25,000 (~2,320) | 55,000 + 30,000 (~2,500) | Not listed |
| Metal braces | 65,000-75,000 (~1,910-2,210) | 70,000-80,000 (~2,060-2,350) | 38,000-48,000 (~1,120-1,410) |

Prices checked 9 October 2026 from each provider’s own price page. BIDC lists package rates valid until 31 October 2026, and BIDH lists prices valid until 30 November 2026. Both say prices may change without notice, and both show higher crossed-out reference prices beside the current ones, so ask for the final total rather than the headline. Skytrain publishes guideline rates and says the final cost is confirmed after the examination. BIDC’s fee page contains two versions of some tables that differ slightly, which is one more reason to get the number in writing.

What does the headline price leave out?
Three small extras show up on the price pages themselves:
- Nursing and sterilisation charges. BIDC adds 150-250 THB (~4-7 USD) per visit and BIDH adds 200-300 THB (~6-9 USD) to all treatments.
- Imaging. BIDC charges a 3D CT scan 5,500-10,500 THB (~160-310 USD) per area and a panoramic film 1,400 THB (~41 USD), separately from treatment. Implant planning usually needs scans, so ask whether they are in the quote.
- Free consultation, paid extras. BIDC says the dentist check-up and consultation are free, but X-rays, medications, sterilisation, nursing and clinic service fees are charged separately. Skytrain lists a free check-up and a 200 THB (~6 USD) X-ray.

How do the dental groups compare?
Bangkok International Dental Center (BIDC)
BIDC describes itself as Thailand’s first JCI-accredited dental centre (since 2012) and holds ISO 9001:2015. Its Bangkok branches are the main clinic on Ratchadaphisek 7 in Din Daeng, Siam Paragon (2nd floor, North Colonnade) and EmQuartier (Helix Building, 4th floor). It is open daily and lists general, cosmetic, implant, orthodontic, gum, root canal and oral surgery services, with sedation (general anaesthesia, IV, nitrous oxide, oral) available at its alliance hospital, BIDH.
Its fee page is detailed. It lists implants by system and crowns by material. Root canals are 11,000 THB (~325 USD) for a front tooth, 14,000 THB (~410 USD) for a premolar and 17,000 THB (~500 USD) for a molar.
Bangkok International Dental Hospital (BIDH)
BIDH is an eight-level dental hospital at 98 Sukhumvit Soi 2, near Ploenchit. Outpatient hours are Monday to Saturday 9:00-20:00 and Sunday 9:00-18:00, with inpatient care available around the clock. It lists cosmetic dentistry, implants, braces, children’s dentistry, oral surgery and sedation dentistry, and says its dentists and staff are fluent in English. The page says it follows standards advocated by JCI, ADA and AAMI and does not state its own accreditation; the JCI mention on the page refers to its sister clinic BIDC. It opened in 2020.
Prices run slightly above BIDC’s on most lines, with crowns quoted at 2-3 visits over 3-7 days, a one-day eMax crown at 25,000 THB (~735 USD) and implants at 2-4 visits. From 1 May 2026 BIDH no longer treats patients under the Thai Social Security agreement, so those patients pay in full and claim back.

Skytrain Dental Group
Skytrain Dental runs 14 branches next to BTS and MRT stations, among them Sukhumvit, Siam Station, Chidlom, Asok, Phra Khanong, On Nut and Saphan Khwai. It is open daily from 11:00 to 20:00. Its published rates are the lowest of the three on crowns, braces, root canals, scaling and whitening: a root canal runs 7,000-8,000 THB (~205-235 USD) for a front tooth and 12,000-15,000 THB (~355-440 USD) for a molar, and wisdom tooth extraction 2,500-3,000 THB (~74-88 USD).
The site has an English version; ask which branch has an English-speaking dentist before travelling. Skytrain accepts the Thai Social Security dental benefit with no upfront payment (up to 1,100 THB, with the clinic adding 200 THB) and offers instalments of up to 12 months through SPayLater.
What do hospital dental centres offer?
Hospital dental centres suit people who want a dentist backed by a full hospital, for example someone with a medical condition or who may need sedation. They publish less pricing, so budget more time for quotes. The guide to choosing a hospital in Bangkok covers the wider decision.
Bangkok Hospital Dental Center
The centre is on the 2nd floor of the Dental Building at Bangkok Hospital and is open daily 9:00-20:00. Bangkok Hospital states that it achieved JCI accreditation standards, with a focus on patient safety, and says its team has over 120 dental health professionals. Work is split between a “Multi Space” (implants, root canals, dental surgery) and a “Prime Space” (veneers, one-day crowns, ceramic fillings). It lists an intraoral scanner, CAD/CAM milling, a digital lab and 3D cone beam CT used to plan implants, and says exam rooms exchange air 24 times per hour with HEPA filtration, plus a negative-pressure room for high-risk patients.
Its published Invisalign packages are First at 120,000 THB (~3,530 USD), Lite at 150,000 THB (~4,410 USD) and Moderate at 190,000 THB (~5,590 USD), above the dental groups’ entry packages (Invisalign Go at 79,000-79,900 THB). For other treatments, call 02-755-1335 or the contact centre on 1719 for a quote. More on the hospital itself is in the Bangkok Hospital guide.

Samitivej Dental Clinic
Samitivej has two dental clinics: Sukhumvit (Building 2, Sukhumvit Wing, 4th floor; Monday to Saturday 8:00-20:00 and Sunday 8:00-17:00) and Srinakarin (3rd floor, daily 9:00-20:00). Services include scaling, orthodontics with Invisalign, gum treatment, root canals and implants, fillings, extractions, wisdom teeth, laser whitening, crowns and bridges, and treatment under anaesthesia. The Sukhumvit clinic also lists ceramic braces and inlays and onlays.
It is the one provider here that spells out language support: dentists who speak English, Japanese and German are available on request, with interpreters for many other languages. The page lists a suite capable of sedation and general anaesthesia, a panoramic X-ray system and international-standard sterilisation equipment. See the Samitivej Sukhumvit hospital guide for the wider hospital.
Bumrungrad Dental Center
Bumrungrad’s dental centre is in Building B, South Wing (main lobby escalators to the 3rd floor, then right to the end of the hallway) and is open every day from 8:00 to 20:00. Its page says it has over 55 specialist dentists and lists paediatric dentistry, prosthodontics (dentures and implants), oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, aesthetic dentistry, gum treatment, root canals, general dentistry and veneers. The contact centre is open 24 hours on +66 2066 8888. Ask about prices and staff languages when you book. Read more in the Bumrungrad hospital guide.
Is Chulalongkorn Dental Hospital an option for visitors?
Chulalongkorn University’s dental hospital is a teaching hospital on Phayathai Road in Pathum Wan, run by the Faculty of Dentistry. Services run from checkups, fillings, scaling and extractions to root canals, gum care, orthodontics, prosthodontics, children’s dentistry and oral surgery including wisdom teeth, jaw bone surgery and implants. A “special dental clinic” with professors and specialist dentists is open to the public: Monday to Friday 9:00-12:00, 13:00-16:00 (closed Wednesday afternoon) and 17:00-20:00, Saturday 9:00-12:00, 13:00-16:00 and 17:00-20:00, and Sunday 9:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00.
A new patient registers on the 1st floor of the Somdet Ya building with an ID card for adults and pays 30 THB for a patient card. Fees are posted as an image on the faculty’s pricing page, dated February 2026. Thai public health scheme members and Social Security members are served under their own entitlements. Phone 0 2218 8705 or 0 2251 3901-3 to ask about booking and English-speaking staff, and see the guide to Chulalongkorn Hospital for foreigners for the main hospital.

What should you ask before you pick?
Use the same short list with every clinic so the quotes are comparable:
- What does the number cover? Ask for an itemised, written quote that states the implant brand, the crown material, scans, nursing and sterilisation fees and any follow-up visit.
- How many visits? BIDH’s own page puts implants at 2-4 visits and crowns at 2-3 visits over 3-7 days, so plan the trip around that. The reasoning is in the dental treatment guide.
- Who treats you? Ask for the name and specialist qualification of the dentist who will do your procedure, not only the coordinator.
- Is there a validity date? BIDC and BIDH both show end dates for their package prices.
- What if something goes wrong at home? Ask for the clinic’s warranty and review policy in writing before you pay.

Common questions
What is the best dental clinic in Bangkok?
There is no single best clinic; the right choice depends on the treatment. For published prices, compare BIDC, BIDH and Skytrain Dental. For hospital backup and sedation, look at Bangkok Hospital, Samitivej or Bumrungrad. Whichever you pick, get an itemised written quote after an examination.
Which Bangkok dental clinics publish prices?
BIDC, BIDH and Skytrain Dental publish itemised price lists. Bangkok Hospital lists Invisalign package prices. Chulalongkorn posts a rate table as an image on its pricing page.
Is a hospital dental centre more expensive than a dental group?
Where both publish prices, yes for Invisalign: Bangkok Hospital lists packages from 120,000 THB (~3,530 USD), while BIDC and BIDH list Invisalign Go at 79,000-79,900 THB (~2,320-2,350 USD). For other treatments, ask each hospital for a quote.
Which Bangkok dental clinics have English-speaking dentists?
BIDC lists English-speaking dentists and BIDH says its dentists and staff are fluent in English. Samitivej provides English, Japanese and German dentists on request plus interpreters. Ask other providers which languages their dentists speak when booking.
Can I use Thai Social Security at these clinics?
Skytrain accepts the Thai Social Security dental benefit with no upfront payment, up to 1,100 THB, and BIDH stopped accepting it on 1 May 2026. Chulalongkorn serves Social Security and public health scheme members under their entitlements. This mostly matters to residents with Thai coverage rather than visitors.
How many visits does a Bangkok dental implant need?
BIDH’s price page lists implants at 2-4 visits and crowns at 2-3 visits over 3-7 days. Your dentist sets the exact schedule after scans, so confirm it before you book flights.
