MedPark Hospital is a private hospital at 3333 Rama IV Road, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, which MedPark describes in its press material as a 550-bed multidisciplinary hospital in a 25-story building near Sukhumvit 21. It suits expats and visitors who live or stay in the Sukhumvit, Asok and Khlong Toei area and want one address for a check-up, specialist care, dental work, a sleep study or fertility treatment, with MRT access close by. It is a newer hospital: its own April 2021 news post covers its first six months of operation.

What is MedPark Hospital?

MedPark was set up with Mahachai Hospital Public Company Limited and operates under TPP Healthcare International Co., Ltd (CanCham Thailand corporate profile). MedPark says the building has 25 stories and about 90,000 square meters in the central business district, with more than 40 medical specialties, ICU and CCU units with one-to-one nursing, and LEED Gold certification (Daily Star press briefing, April 2026).

MedPark says its equipment includes PET-CT, a 3 Tesla MRI, a 256-slice CT, SPECT-CT, nuclear medicine imaging, LINAC radiation therapy and hybrid operating theatres. It lists cancer care with genetic testing, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy and bone marrow and kidney transplantation, cardiology with screening, bypass surgery, valve replacement, stenting and pacemakers, and orthopedics covering spine, hip and knee, foot and ankle, trauma, shoulder and sports care, including robot-assisted joint replacement. Pediatrics, maternity and newborn care sit alongside these.

Is MedPark JCI accredited?

MedPark’s home page lists a Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation certificate dated 2026 under Awards and Accreditations, together with other 2026 awards including Newsweek rankings. JCI is the standard to ask about when comparing private hospitals: see JCI vs private vs public hospitals. Accreditation says the hospital meets set process standards, not that every outcome will be the same for every patient.

Is MedPark worth it? Who it suits

  • Suits: residents and visitors near Sukhumvit, Asok and Khlong Toei; people who want imaging, specialists, dental and a sleep lab at one site; people with international insurance from the partner list.
  • Less suited: a minor ailment where a clinic or pharmacy costs less; budget-led care; people far from Rama 4 who have a good hospital nearer home.
  • Compare first: for a major procedure, get written quotes from MedPark and from at least one other hospital such as Bumrungrad International Hospital, Bangkok Hospital or Samitivej Sukhumvit. More on choosing is in choosing a hospital.

A checklist before you go

  1. Phone 02-023-3333 and book the specialty and a time.
  2. Ask the insurer, in writing, whether direct billing or a guarantee letter applies.
  3. For a package, ask for the full item list, fasting instructions and what is billed extra.
  4. Bring passport, insurance card and a list of current medicines.
  5. Plan the trip by MRT: Khlong Toei or Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Exit 2.
  6. For a prescription, ask the clinic staff where to collect your medicine before you leave.
